God's Word exhorts us to serve one another. We care for others in our church family by giving our time and talents to bless others. And by giving, you can be blessed in return by building friendships while serving alongside others. Find out more about the ways you can serve and connect at EBF.
The AV & Production team provides essential technical support for our Sunday worship service. They ensure that our musicians and speakers sound great and that all of our visuals are working properly.
The hospitality team ministers to the church body by serving guests and ensuring all aspects of our worship services are "done decently and in order" (1 Corinthians 14:40). They help create an inviting atmosphere in the hall by helping guests with questions and ensuring that guests can help connect with our church. They also facilitate the logistics of the service itself, like passing offering plates and cleaning up after the service.
Several different teams minister to our children and youth. We have the nursery and Children's Church teams, which minister to children in fifth grade and younger on Sunday mornings. We also have DoX, EBF's youth ministry. Volunteers with DoX help mentor and encourage junior and senior high students.
Men and women serving on the welcome team care for those attending our services by giving them a warm welcome at the door. They help guests find what they need and connect them to the life of our church.
Being a mobile church, each Sunday requires a lot of preparation. The Mover & Setup teams serve the church by arriving early at Nichols Concert Hall and moving equipment and materials into place for the worship service. They also stay behind after the services are done and pack everything back up into storage. This a simple but essential way to bless others in the church.
EBF is blessed with many musicians and vocalists who give of their talents to bless the church. The team prepares for our Sunday worship services and guides our church as we worship God in song.
